Neon
So hot right now – Neon
So I’ve been Facestalking this brand for a little while now and I’m psyched to finally share them with you.
In their own words HypoxicAndLost is “Handmade Limited edition and one-off pieces. Distressed…studded…low backs…leather….denim….mini…sexy feminine…fun. …handmade in Australia.” so you can see why I’m smitten; they do all my favourite things!!
This set they posted earlier today (skirt & crop top by HypoxicAndLost) is an excellent example of their style and a great ‘how-to’ for rocking the neon trend
I seriously recommend you go ‘like’ their page – where you can purchase direct from their posts. D

Still hooked on the NEON tread?? Check out my Pinterest Board dedicated entirely to all that is Fluorescent !!
Ruthie Davis has been using her Facebook Page to tantalize us with sneak peeks of her upcoming Spring 2012 range – these heels scream ‘bring on the sunshine!!!’. Hunt down a stockist on at ruthiedavis.com and keep your eyes peeled for their debut.
Neon two BY ROSSHANNA B.,
Neon Heart BY IRIS L.,
Its a bit of a contradiction from my instructions on how to pull off the Neon trend but this look by Iris L was just too hot not to re-post. D
Neon is one of the biggest trends at the moment, and rightly so as it is an ultimate attention getter!
But beware! Neon should only be used a statement piece – that means a single (or series of small coordinated) splashes of attention grabbing colour in an otherwise subtle outfit.
Right now I’m easing into the Neon scene with some creative polish:
This here is Chi Chi polish in Boom Boom Boom with a Black Crackle top coat (also Chi Chi), with the rest of my nails done in my standard black gloss. >>
But how would I really rock the trend? I would choose one stand out neon piece e.g. a bag, a top or some heels and keep the rest of my outfit black and unfussy;
Anyway, stay tuned rockers, all this week I will be featuring Neon goodness for your reading pleasure. D
It was an ill-advised outing that I went on yesterday as I am only a week into my self-imposed ban on non-essential spending for the month of January but I was pleased with what I found, there are some great trends starting to come through which have me looking forward to the impending spending spree that will be February…
A few of the things that really caught my attention:
Bardot’s current collection is all about deep maroon & black with animal print still in favour
and Cotton On Body have some simple, comfy (& cheap) pieces that’ll get you into the hottest trend of the moment – NEON
P.S. if your interested in the Neon trend, stay tuned – I have ALOT more to come on the subject. D
